It’s back…the classic Lake Sonoma MTB epic long loop. This is the most challenging, flowy single track in NorCal. The last couple of years the crossing at Rancheria Creek has been impassible but thanks to the crew at Healdsburg Running Co. and Friends of Lake Sonoma, we’ll be making sure we have a bridge in place in case of high water. The course follows the trail from the South Vista overlook in a clockwise direction. You’re either going up, or down…twisting and gliding on the sinuous ribbon of a trail that was built with horses in mind modeling the Tevis Cup race. With over 4k of climbing in 27 miles, and no bail out spot, this loop is not for everyone. Thankfully we have a  “short course” option that incorporates the trails north of Rockpile Rd and includes the same finish as the long course.

Lake Sonoma MTB is part of the Grasshopper Adventure Series 2025
