Join us for an epic 9 day adventure in Costa Rica. In addition to organizing the Grasshopper Adventure Series for the last 21 years, Hopper Adventures has also been traveling to Costa Rica, Spain and Peru for the last 16 years and is ready to show you the best adventure combination trip possible. Especially designed for adventure cyclists you’ll be treated to 4 fantastic rides, white water rafting, a waterfall tour, zip lines, canyoning and relaxing on the Caribbean. We have dug deep in the Costa Rican topography to bring you routes that will immerse you in the tropical landscape and show you the highlights of Monte Verde, Arenal and Turrialba. We’ll stay at top notch hotels and you’ll have two guides and a mechanic to help with all you need. Nights 2-3 we’ll be treated to hot springs at the base of Arenal Volcano and a relaxing massage on day 3 as well. There’s a reason Costa Rica is the land of “pura vida” (pure life). Time to come learn what it’s all about!

- Day 1: Travel to CR. Drive to Monte Verde. Stay at Monte Verde Country Lodge. Build up bikes and short spin.
- Day 2: Ride MV to Arenal. Remote gravel roads with massive views. Stay at Los Lagos and enjoy hot springs.
- Day 3: Ride in Arenal area and stay at Los Lagos Hotel. Waterfall swim. Massage.
- Day 4: Drive to Turrialba. Short spin or chill. Stay at Guayabo Lodge
- Day 5: Ride to summit of Irazu volcano and on the slopes of Volcán Turrialba. Finish at Exploranatura and canyoning/rappelling. Stay at Turrialtico
- Day 6: Ride from Turrialtico to “put in” on Pacuare River. White water rafting on world class Class IV river. Stay at Hotel Cariblue.
- Day 7: Day on the beach of the Caribbean. (optional water activities or ride)
- Day 8: Travel to San Jose. Stay at Hotel Presidente.
- Day 9: Return to US.
